Dr. McKoy holds her doctorate from Tennessee State University, her master's degree from Vanderbilt University, and she completed her bachelor’s degree at North Carolina A & T State University. Her clinical experience includes private practice, community mental health, VA Medical Center, hospital, K-12 (public and military schools), and in-home settings. Dr. McKoy also has experience as an Adjunct Faculty member, speaker, workshop facilitator, mentor, poet, and author.
Dr. McKoy is passionate about supporting you on your journey of change, healing and restoration. She specializes in assisting individuals with moving forward from grief & loss issues such as death, divorce, relationship terminations, financial and career issues, etc.) while maintaining balance in career, school, family, and other life demands.
